Freeschool is an organization of community members who come together to create events, workshops and skillshares open to everyone. Ability to teach and learn without requiring tuition insures that classes and events will be open to all ages and people of all economic standing. It is asked that people give a small donation if they are able, but is certainly not required. Classes are taught by community members who possess skills and volunteer their time to share what they know. Anyone is welcome to teach classes. In addition to classes, we organize events such as discussion groups, writer's nights and craft nights. There is a meeting once per month to discuss ideas and locations for the next month's calendar, these meetings include a potluck which all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Calendars of freeschool events are printed monthly and posted in public places such as Vermillion Public Library, R-Pizza and Jone's Food Cener. There is also an E-mail list and calendars can be picked up upon request.
